For over 15 years I've tackled editing and content management projects in a variety of project environments: traditional publishing, self-publishing, corporate communication, and website management. I started freelancing part-time in 2004, working directly with authors to polish their manuscripts before submitting to publishers (and sometimes after). In 2016 I took stock of my career and realized that was the most fun I've ever had working. So in January 2017 I took the plunge and dedicated myself to building a thriving editing practice. I couldn't be happier with that choice.
My writing and editing portfolio includes motivational and leadership books, memoir, editorials, essays, and more. I am familiar with both Chicago and AP style guides, and as a 30-year genealogist I'm familiar with both sourcing and styles for family history texts. Colleagues and clients describe me as dedicated, bright, and adaptable. Let me help you take your writing project to the next level.
