Who Can Join the AIPP?

The AIPP is intended for dedicated freelance professionals focused on providing services to self-published authors and small presses in the areas of fiction and/or creative nonfiction. We welcome members who clearly demonstrate a commitment to the quality of their work and the self-publishing profession and who work in the following capacities:

• Editors
• Proofreaders
• Graphic artists
• Book cover designers
• Author assistants
• Formatters/Interior book designers
• Website designers for authors
• Book publicists
• Voice actors for audiobooks

Please note: The AIPP welcomes members at all stages of their professional freelance career. As such, we have few requirements save for one: you must have a website that clearly represents your business.

Membership Levels

If you’re interested in either interacting with the AIPP or joining as a paid member, please review the membership benefits below to determine whether you wish to join. Although we have a wealth of benefits, members most frequently say that the support structure the AIPP provides is the most beneficial to their businesses.

For clients wishing to post a job, please register for a Guest Membership.

We are continuously looking for partnership deals with companies, whether it be for cloud-based software discounts, stock art, or home-delivery services.

Note: Guest membership is free. For general membership, there is a $10.00 application fee for new members and reinstating members whose membership has lapsed for more than 120 days. This fee is included in the $45 membership below.
